Dr. Pasche is an international leader in cancer research, widely recognized for his work in the field of TGF-β signaling in the context of cancer susceptibility. He pioneered the concept of constitutively altered TGF-β signaling as a major modifier of cancer risk. He also identified one of the first genetic links between obesity and breast and colon cancer. His other major research interests include cancer genetics, and he has pioneered the use of low and safe levels of electromagnetic fields for the treatment of cancer.
